When Obedience Opens Doors: Letting Go and Letting God Use Me

Whew. It’s been a minute since my last post.

Life has been life-ing. You know those seasons where things are moving, stretching, shifting. The kind that makes you say “God is in control” on repeat… because you need the reminder just as much as the declaration.

But even with all the ups and downs, I can honestly say this:

I’m happy. I’m blessed. And I’m letting God work.

I’m learning to be patient, to wait well, and to trust the process even when it’s quiet.

Today, I stepped out of my comfort zone.

I shared my Peace by Piece journal for free in a Facebook group.

No promo.

No “buy now.”

Just a seed of peace for someone who might need it.

And I wouldn’t have done that if it weren’t for a friend’s testimony.

She didn’t call or tell me directly. I just happened to see her post, and it moved me.

It opened my eyes to the blessings I may be holding back from others and the ones God may be trying to pour into me, if I would just release.

So I moved.

And let me tell you...I felt a release.

Not just because I gave something, but because I let go of the idea that every gift has to come with a price tag.

Some things are meant to be poured out.

✨ What I'm Learning in This Season:

-Obedience doesn’t always look like hustle.

-Purpose doesn’t always come with applause.

-And blessings often wait behind the doors we’re scared to open.

📖 Scripture That’s Been on My Heart:

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

ree

That’s been ringing in my spirit all day.

I want to be someone who refreshes others; in faith, in peace, and in purpose.
