Prayer Is Part of My Business Strategy

That statement might seem simple. But for me, it’s everything.

Before I design a mat, post a product, or launch a new idea, I pray. Before I speak over my business, I speak to God. Because at the end of the day, I don’t want to build something that looks good. I want to build something that lasts. And that only happens when God is the foundation.

Lately, I’ve felt a strong pull to silence the noise.

The noise of comparison.

The noise of overthinking.

The noise of “Am I doing enough?” and “Is anyone even watching?”

And to be honest, in the world of small business, there’s always going to be noise. People telling you what you should be doing. Timelines to follow. Trends to chase. But what good is strategy if it drowns out the voice of the One who gave me the vision?

God didn’t call me to move fast. He called me to move in faith.

And that means tuning out the world sometimes to tune into Him.

📖 Devotional Reflection:

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”John 10:27 (NIV)

This verse reminds me that God’s voice still speaks — even in the busy, even in the building, even in the branding.

If you’ve been feeling pulled in different directions, this is your reminder:

You don’t have to chase what God already assigned to you.

Be still.

Pray.

And move when He says move.

That’s not just a strategy. That’s obedience.

📝 Devotional Journal Prompt:

What noise do you need to silence in this season so you can hear God clearly?

Where is He asking you to walk in purpose, not pressure?

Final Thought:

I don’t want to run a business that’s built on trends.

I want to run a business that’s built on trust.

And for me, that starts with prayer.

Every time.

With grace and purpose,

Racquel
